The William B. and Catherine V. Graham School of General Studies, the Division of the Biological Sciences and the Pritzker School of Medicine, the Division of Humanities, the Division of Physical Sciences, the Division of Social Sciences, and the Divinity School.

The Honorary Degrees and the Faculty Awards for Excellence in Graduate Teaching will be presented at this session.

1:15 p.m. Session II candidate line-up is on the first floor of the Gerald Ratner Athletics Center, 5530 S. Ellis Avenue.
 
1:15 p.m. Harper Quadrangle opens for guest seating.

Candidate Line-up

Graduates march to convocation

Candidates may begin to line up at 1:15 p.m. Please report to the first floor of the Gerald Ratner Athletics Center, 5530 S. Ellis Avenue. At the Ratner Center, you will pick-up your marching card, which indicates your place in the procession. Candidates not in line by 1:45 p.m., will NOT be permitted to march and participate in convocation. Please note that all degree candidates are required to wear a cap and gown.

Please be aware that there is NO secure place to leave any personal and/ or valuable items. The University is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Guests are NOT permitted in the candidate line-up area nor are they allowed to march or sit in the graduate seating area.

Guest Tickets

Tickets will not be issued for this ceremony. General admission seating will be available on a first-come first-served basis. We encourage guests to arrive early. Children must be accompanied by a parent or other adult who will be responsible for their behavior during the ceremony and will escort them from their seats if necessary.
