Diplomas are conferred by President Zimmer at the quarterly University Convocations.

Candidates for a degree must file an application to graduate no later than the beginning of the quarter in which the degree is to be conferred. Applications for non-GSB students should be completed on-line at the cMore web site ( https://cmore.uchicago.edu/authenticate.phtml). Students who are not currently active must apply through their area Dean of Students office. GSB students should apply through the Graduate School of Business.

Degree applications which are cancelled--for any reason--after the end of the first week of the quarter will incur a $50 Degree Cancellation Fee assessed to the student's account with the Bursar.

College Students
