Accessibility and Accommodations for Degree Candidates
Degree candidates who require accommodations and/or would like to submit accessibility requests may fill out the Accommodation Request Form. Please note that the Office of University Events and Ceremonies and your dean of student’s office will receive your submission. Requests for accommodations must be submitted by Friday, May 25, 2018.
Approximately two weeks prior to Convocation, a staff member will be in touch with you to discuss and confirm the accommodations request you submitted.
Accessibility and Accommodations for Guests
At the University Convocation ceremony on Saturday, June 9, accessible seating is available for guests with disabilities and up to two (2) companions. This seating area is designated for individuals using wheelchairs, persons with limited mobility, and guests with visual or hearing impairments.
To make arrangements, please submit your request by completing the Accommodation Request Form. Requests must be submitted by Friday, May 25, 2018. Seating is limited, so please submit the form as soon as possible.

The University of Chicago does not supply wheelchairs, but can offer reserved seating closest to the handicap entrance.
