David Nirenberg is the Deborah R. and Edgar D. Jannotta Professor in the Committee on Social Thought, the Department of History, and the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, and the College, and dean of the Social Sciences Division. His teaching focuses on relations between religions, as do his books, among them the recent Neighboring Faiths: Christianity, Islam, and
Judaism in the Middle Ages and Today.
