Convocation Weekend promises to be an exciting and memorable experience for graduating students and their families. We thank you in advance for your patience and support as we recognize and celebrate their achievements.

On Friday, June 2, the main program will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Quadrangle and end at approximately 4:00 p.m. On Saturday, June 3, the events will run from approximately 7:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m., and 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4 throughout campus.

Please refer to the maps for all times and locations that will be affected.

On Friday, June 2, parking options at campus and medical center lots will remain the same.  On Saturday, June 3, a majority of University-operated parking lots and garages will be reserved for use by Convocation guests. One parking garage will be exclusively reserved for medical center guests, located at the corner of East 57th Street and Cottage Grove. Please refer to the maps above for details.

On Friday, June 2, Saturday, June 3, and Sunday, June 4, hours and operations at the medical center will not be affected in any way.

We do not anticipate changes to the Metra schedule. For more information, please visit Metra. 

On Saturday, June 3, CTA bus routes 171 and 172 will be rerouted from 7:00 a.m.-noon, and suspended from noon-5:00 p.m. For more information, please visit Chicago Transit Authority.
