A degree candidate wears the cap and gown that is appropriate for the degree they receive at convocation, regardless of any previous degrees received. Doctoral candidates are not hooded at the ceremony, but candidates who have received their hoods may wear them at the ceremony. Convocation is a formal and traditional ceremony, and we ask that any attire or adornement worn by candidates be appropriate for the occasion.
The slideshow on the right displays regalia photos for each degree, including Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral gowns.
