Road Closures:
On Friday, June 6, 2025, South Ellis Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic between East 57th Street and East 59th Street. Additionally, South University Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic between East 57th Street and East 59th Street.
On Friday, June 6, 2025, the following road closures will be in effect due to the 57th Street Art Fair:
- South Kimbark Avenue between East 56th Street and East 57th Street
- East 57th Street between South Woodlawn Avenue and South Kenwood Avenue
Guest Parking
Guest parking is available at the Ellis Garage located at 5505 S. Ellis Ave for $28 full day max, and Kimbark South Garage located at 6021 S. Kimbark Ave for $29 full day max.
Parking Restrictions
On Friday, June 6, 2025, the following parking restrictions will be in effect:
- East 56th Street between South Cottage Grove and South Ellis Avenue
- South Drexel Avenue between East 56th Street and East 57th Street

UGo shuttles can be tracked in real time via PASSIO GO! You can view the Passio GO! website online or on a mobile device. Passio GO! can also be downloaded as a free smartphone app through the Apple App Store and Google Play and is displayed on monitors in the lobbies of several buildings on campus.
For your safety and the safety of all passengers, flag stops can only occur at intersections. To flag a shuttle between stops, customers should safely stand at the intersection to allow the shuttle to safely pull over. To indicate a stop while on the shuttle, pull the cord or ask the driver. The driver will then stop at the next safe intersection.
